Because we understand and realise that it can be quite daunting to order a wedding dress online, we have put together this section to describe how our gowns are made and for our customers to be confident of the quality of our gowns.
Our manufacturer uses at least 4 layers of fabric to make the bodice of our bridal gowns, and another layer of interlining around the neckline. With 2 layers of interlining, the bodice of our bridal gowns is very firm. Another layer of interlining is also added around neckline to make this part of the dress very solid.
In the following pictures, for illustration purposes only, we have used red satin and lining to explain this example.
Bones are added into the bodice, making the bodice of our bridal gowns very strong and supportive. 10 bones are added in the bodice of most our bridal gowns.
Bone 8 & bone 3 are 1.2cm wide, and other bones are 0.6cm wide.
Horse hair interlining is also added all around the hemline, which fixes the shape of the train and hemline.
Only the best beads found in the bridal industry are used in our gowns. Our manufacturer uses Japan made Matsuno beads (MGB beads) which are the top quality beads in the industry. Cheap beads would turn dark after 3-6 months, but ours do not!
All bead work on our bridal gowns are meticulously hand-stitched.
See below picture of some beading samples from our factory.
We hope you have enjoyed our little tour on how our gowns are made, and are now confident in the quality of our gowns.
